Throughout the years we have created and delivered mindfulness talks and workshops addressing common workplace challenges and also tailored to specific client needs and requirements.
A topic can be delivered as a talk in addition to a guided meditation, or as a workshop by adding mindful exercises and making it interactive. You are free to pick any of these and / or share with us more about what you need, so we can craft a specific theme and experience for you. Duration of the talks / workshops can be from 30 min to 2 hours.

What is Meditation Anyway. Most Common Types of Meditation
So what is meditation anyway? Is it a path to peace and calmness? Is it a way to destroy or tame the ego? Is it a path to a deeper self-connection and self-awareness? Or is it simply a stress-reduction technique, which improves your sleep? During this session we will be exploring meditation as a practice and we will also be giving an overview of the different types of meditation and when each of them would be most beneficial for us.

Anxiety - What is it and How Can We Tame It?
Anxiety can manifest in a variety of symptoms ranging from fatigue through having a full blown panic attack. Catching these symptoms early can help prevent them from overwhelming us. We will be exploring how anxiety can negatively impact our relationships, sense of self, productivity, and engagement at and with work. We’ll explore how acknowledging anxiety rather than fighting it can reduce its hold over us. By completing a full body scan and short breath meditation, the participants will gain insight into grounding and mindfulness as tools to address anxiety.

How do you take care of yourself? How do you feel when you take care of yourself? During this session, we will focus on the importance of self-care as it relates to our daily functioning in and outside of work. People have often functioned from the idea that pressure supports the best type of productivity. We will challenge this idea by identifying how developing a space of quietude and stillness can make us even more productive, and presents less harmful language / ideas about oneself. We will discuss what self-care means and how it is different for everyone.

Forgiveness in the Workplace
During this session we will dive into the ways in which forgiveness plays a key role in how we relate to each other and to ourselves. Holding onto negative feelings about our coworkers and oneself can be barriers to an effective and happy workplace. Taking time to step back from the situation and offering loving kindness can help us when we need to respond to rough emotions. We will discuss how we can adapt the ideas of equanimity / kindness to the workplace and after the discussion the group will be guided through a gentle loving kindness meditation

Acceptance means to be in the embrace of what is without resistance. That sounds great and can also be a great challenge. Getting caught up in the rigid thinking patterns we have about certain situations or people can harbor resentment and withdrawal from possibly great opportunities.
